Building and sustaining communities of people looking to do good is what gets me up every morning.

I believe in creating opportunities for real connection between individuals, and empowering everyone to help create a better society.

Drawing on expertise in brand strategy, knowledge of UX best practices, and a passion for resonant leadership, I help social impact organizations cultivate a genuine sense of community among their target audiences.

What I do

What I do for a living

Since 2018, I have worked as Senior Marketing Manager at the national charity Pathways to Education Canada.

Prior to that, I held the role of Digital Marketing Manager at the international NGO Right to Play (2016 - 2018), and the role of Marketing Manager at the Toronto-based social enterprise Furniture Bank (2014 - 2016).

At all 3 organizations, I implemented integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns that married audience needs with business objectives, and strengthened the community of support around each organization.

I co-founded T.O. Tech Gives Back, a community of good made up of individuals from Toronto’s tech sector who come together to contribute to social good initiatives.

Our inaugural event saw 150 tech sector employees volunteer at local non-profits for a day. Since 2019, the focus has been on helping newcomers to Canada overcome barriers to employment through access to networking opportunities with tech professionals.

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, I launched Virtual Coffee for Good, an initiative that encourages professionals to volunteer their time to offer support and advice, virtually, to young people and newcomers facing a disrupted job market.

In a post-COVID-19 world, I believe communities of good will be more important than ever to rebuild a better, more equitable society.
